Ogilvy & Mather’s Working Parents Network hosted a screening of MomCave<http://www.youtube.com/momcave>, an new online network of comedies for moms.Employees of the ad agency mingled with film makers and mommy bloggers. The creators of MomCave, three moms and a dad, have created four original web series.
Shows:
Double Leche-”Awkward and sometimes funny moments in breastfeeding.” A sketch-style show about those nursing in public moments.
Slummy Mummy-”We thought we could have it all. Now we just want to poop alone.” A narrative comedy about a new mom who can’t quite live up to the perfection of her mommy nemesis.
Blabbermom-”Real moms. Real stories. Real laughs.” We interviewed some very funny women and got their hilarious take on motherhood.
MomCave Live: A weekly live show where the audience can interact with our moms. We’ll also feature special guests from the mommy blogger world and web series community.
Format: Moms don’t have time to watch long episodes. That’s why all of our shows are 3-5 minutes long. Perfect for watching on your iPhone while late-night nursing or on a sneak “break” in the bathroom. (Come on, we know you do it too!)
