My boys love music and I have to admit they have a special place in their hearts for Caribbean music, most likely because of their rich Caribbean heritage and they have been listening to Caribbean music even before they were born. There are a few key artists that my husband and I have made sure the boys are familiar with and Bob Marley is at the top of that list. In honor of Marley’s 70th birthday, the album Celebrating Bob Marley is a tribute featuring a selection of some of Bob Marley’s most timeless songs sung by by Aaron Nigel Smith’s 1World Chorus. My boys love singing along to all ten tracks and are excited to listen to the talented children’s chorus. This digital album has quickly grown to be one of their all time favorites to listen to. Get yours as soon as it comes out on 4/28!

This ten-track collection was performed entirely by Aaron Nigel Smith’s 1World Chorus– a collaboration of children 7 to 18 years of age, from Kenya, Colombia, the United States and Jamaica. Judah Marley, 10 year old granddaughter of the late reggae icon, also makes a guest vocal appearance on “Bend Down Low.”
