Chugginton Fire Patrol Rescue
*Disclaimer: I was not compensated for this post.
This past Saturday, we attended a “traintastic” Chuggington celebration at theNew York City Fire Museum in Manhattan! The firefighting-themed fun included a sneak-peek screening of “Fire Patrol Rescue,” a chance to meet with the director, a visit from a real FDNY officer and an awesome art project.
We watched two episodes of the newChugginton series that will be released on DVD Tuesday, March 31st. All the children in attendance watched intently and could be heard singing the theme song. The episodes focused on learning new skills, working together, fire safety skills and learning how to put out a fire. There was also lessons on the importance of having an evacuation route, good communication skills and team work. The shows were a great introduction to talking about fire safety in our own home. It even gaves the adults an important reminder to have a safety plan in case of an emergency and make sure kids are aware of evacuation routes.
Look for the newest member of the Chugginton family, Asher, in the 6 episode DVD pack with great bonus features on March 31st, 2015!
