Six Flags Hurricane Harbor & #CabanaLife

I adore water and water parks and was super excited to take my boys to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Jackson, New Jersey with Angie (MBA Moms online) & her son. I had never visited and was not sure what to expect besides a few water slides and a wave pool plus my boys are all under 5 years old. I was truly amazed at the size and various water park fun that was in store for us, how many activities my little ones could participate in and how much fun a water park could be for the whole family.
We attended the Hurricane Harbor BlogBQ and were given a cabana for the day, I have to admit that I am now, all about #CabanaLife whenever we visit a water-park from now on. The cabanas are conveniently located next to the wave pool, they are furnished with wicker furniture, lounge chairs, a fan, outlets & a refrigerator plus they can be closed for privacy (perfect for a midday nap or for nursing mamas). The amazing cabana staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and attentive, offering to refill souvenir cups and making sure that everyone was happy & comfortable. We got dressed in our cabana and left all of our stuff in our cabana and headed off to explore the sights. First stop was a delicious meal at the Cabana Cove bar & Grill where there was a selection of burgers, sandwiches & salads as well as some dessert selections. We ate and explored the park, checking
out family friendly Discovery Bay, the Taak It Eez Ee Creek and Hurricane Mountain then we relaxed in the Blue Lagoon wave pool. After about an hour in the wave pool, we headed back to our cabana with a hot funnel cake from Island temptations and some buckets, shovels and sand molds we bought from Cabana Brothers and the boys enjoyed playing in the sand and building “castles” right in front of the cabana while I stretched out on my lounge chair.
Hurricane Harbor is a perfect Summer day trip for the whole family to enjoy some fun in the sun & water. Hurricane Harbor is open daily all summer from 10:30am to about 6 or 6:30pm. You can purchase tickets or season passes here.
