Good family friendly restaurants are few and far between and finding one that offers great food at affordable prices is even harder. Pazzi Pasta is a family owned restaurant that serves good food that is also good for you in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, NY. The menu is simple but the food”is sophisticated, they offer wholesome pasta dishes made with ancient grains and locally grown produce. Pasta Pazzi serves fresh artisinal pasta…yes, FRESH pasta that is made daily. First, you choose your pasta (some choices are organic ancient grain farro, wheat free, gnocchi, semolina & Nero di Seppia aka Cuttlefish Ink pasta), then sauce (some choices are tomato, pesto, smoked salmon & gorgonzola and ragu bolognese)and you can add additional toppings like grilled chicken, meatballs, mushrooms and vegballs. Plus, you can finish off your delicious meal with a choice of traditional Sicilian desserts: Apple Harvest Cake, dark Chocolate Italian Caprese Cake, Dark Chocolate and Ricotta Cheese Crumble Cake or my absolute favorite, a Sicilian Almond cookie.
* Pasta: semolina, farro, kamut, spinach or tomato, nero di seppia (cuttlefish ink), gnocchi, and ravioli; gluten-free choices available
