Our Weekend Away with the Mazda CX-5

We took the Mazda CX-5 for a weekend getaway out of the city this summer. As a family of 5, it was a good size, with lots of trunk space to fit our weekend luggage that included a stroller, pool toys, three pieces of children’s carry-on luggage, 3 book bags and a standard carry-on wheeled bag. We were able to fit all three car seats comfortably with an additional passenger and the driver. We set out to attend a family picnic upstate, NY then yo visit family in Maryland for a fun packed weekend out of the city. The Mazda CX-5 was equipped with bluetooth, navigation & entertainment in the dashboard which made entertaining the little ones very simple with just the push of a button. And, the navigation came in handy while we were navigating the winding roads upstate NY. The Mazda CX-5 also boasts these safety features: smart brake support, distance recognition support system, adaptive front lighting system, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert & all wheel drive that made us feel at ease especially while we were driving from New York to Maryland in the wee hours of the morning. We had a great time on our weekend adventure in the Mazda CX-5, thanks to #DriveMazda it is the perfect size for a family of 5 and is still small enough to find and fit into slim NYC street parking spots.
