Grocery shopping for a family of five can be stressful especially when we head to the store together. I usually try to meal plan and map out our grocery store excursions. Armed with coupons, a list, and a printout of store specials we still find it hard to be in and out. Enter Peapod: a free app where I can order my groceries online, shop weekly store specials, have them delivered to my house and use my coupons. So far I have tried the Peapod service four times now: once with a complementary gift card and the other times I purchased everything.
Peapod is Stop & Shop’s answer to home grocery service offering spectacular sales and savings you would find in the physical store. Shopping the Peapod app is simple, you can browse by aisle, specials or even scan an item you have that you need to restock. I even ordered deli meats & cheeses, fruits & vegetables and baked items from the bakery. The delivery time options are open from early morning till late night and you can save on the delivery fee when you choose a wide window.
Peapod’s meal kit solutions go a step further making it extremely easy to create tasty homemade pasta meals with premeasured, precut, ore washed ingredients in less than 30 minutes. These kids are priced at $15.99 to $23.99 and serve between four and six people which make them a great value. The Peapod meal kits contain Barilla pastas, easy-to-follow recipe cards and fresh ingredients.
