Every year my family and I are excited about the holidays and especially about the return of the Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden. My boys and I look forward to wandering through the amazing display of model trains and landmarks recreated using a variety of all natural materials including: The Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, The New Yor Public Library and Rockefeller Center. This year posts and even bigger show with 3000 ft of additional exhibition space housing dozens of new trains, new bridges and tracks as well as a short film all about the behind the scenes magic.
The Holiday Train Show at the New York botanical Garden runs from November 21, 2015 to January 18, 2016. Get your tickets in advance to avoid long wait lines. Tickets range in price from $10-$30. Plus there are A number of additional places to visit within their 250 acres including special tours, musical performances, activities for children, dining venues and last-minute gift shopping at the NYBG gift shop.
