I was invited to attend a luncheon and VTech Nursery Design Challenge hosted by Momtrends at Ludlow Studios in NYC to celebrate and get creative with the new VTech Safe & Sound Owl Digital Video Baby Monitor ($179.99) exclusive to Target.

The tables were decorated simply elegantly with a signature owl mug at each place setting. The food was absolutely delicious and the mimosa bar was the perfect accompaniment to help us all get our creative juices flowing to design a nursery incorporating the new monitor.

Our team brainstormed an finally decided to go with a Nature Woodland theme for our gender neutral nursery; we even named our “new baby” Oakley!

We decorated our nursery with hues of ivory, grays and blues adding pops of color and woodland creatures throughout the room. We highlighted the signature owl from the VTech Safe & Sound Owl Digital Video Baby Monitor and featured other owls around the nursery using push pins, decals and stickers. After two other beautiful nursery designs…WE WON the challenge!

My new VTech Safe & Sound Owl Digital Video Baby Monitor is perched on top of the bookshelf in my sons’ room, offering my husband and I an owl’s eye view of everything that s going on when we use the remote pan and tilt & zoom feature from the parent unit. Plus, the two-way talk-back intercom is a great way to send/receive messages from my little guys and they know that we are not far away.
