Getting Messy with Bounty

I have to admit the idea of a Smash Cake Party is the furthest thing from my mind when planning a toddler birthday party! Just thinking about the clean up afterwards makes me tired! Bounty hosted a super fun & messy Memorable First Moments Birthday Bash to show how easy cleanup can be when cake and paint projects are combined with toddlers. Bounty understands that life is made up of many “messy firsts” and because of its super absorbency, you can enjoy the moment not the mess!
The party was held at Jack Studios in New York City: the space was a beautiful white canvas that was decorated with pops of color and fun interactive stations for the little ones! There were smash cakes to decorate, drip paper flowers to create and a finger painting station!
Bounty teamed up with celebrity designer, author and mom of three Kristin Cavallari to share some fuss-free ways to clean up those inevitable “first” messes. Kristin jumped right into all the activities, getting her hands dirty without fear because Bounty was nearby to clean up the mess!
As soon as we walked in, my 2 year old ran over to the cake decorating table where he was given a cake and colored icing to decorate it all by himself.
He was hesitant at first and looked at me for reassurance, I encouraged him by taking one of the icing tubes and making little dots on his cake. He smiled and started squeezing the icing all over his cake.
My 4 year old was given a cake of his own and immediately began making an edible masterpiece! After their cake decorating session, their hands were pretty messy even after they licked icing off their fingers. Good thing the Bounty paper towels were nearby to clean off the remaining icing.
Next, we headed over to make drip flowers with Bounty paper towels and liquid watercolors. The boys really enjoyed this project and squeezed tons of watercolor mostly on the table but enjoyed watching their paper towel flowers absorb the paint off the table.
Then we took their Smash Cake masterpieces and took some pictures with the photographer. The boys weren’t sure what to do with their cakes so they began licking the icing and poking the cakes which made for some fun pictures!
As a mother of three kids…three boys, I always have Bounty paper towels in my hose because it is 50% more absorbent than other brands. And now, I am really ready to get a little more messy with my boys and really enjoy these silly moments with Bounty the #QuickerPickerUpper
