My boys love any story dealing with the magical world of OZ and were super excited to screen the new Amazon Special, Lost in Oz: Extended Adventure! They were immediately pulled into the story by the “older” characters and sat engaged for the whole 40 minutes.
On Friday, December 2, Amazon Original Kids Special Lost in Oz: Extended Adventure is set to premiere on Prime Video in the US and UK. Lost in Oz is an animated, action-adventure comedy which was part of Amazon Studios’ 2015 summer pilot season and received 4.9 out of 5-stars by customers, with 91% of the reviews being 5-stars. The story begins with 12-year-old Dorothy Gale (Ashley Boettcher) discovering her mother’s magical travel journal from Oz which was hidden beneath the floorboards of their home in Kansas. Dorothy and her dog Toto are transported to Oz after a tornado rips their home from its foundation and so begins the their adventure and task of collecting magic in Oz to return home to Kansas.
Lost in Oz is based on the “OZ” books by L. Frank Baum.
