Mason Jar Teacher Care Package

The end of the school year is filled with lots of memories and goodbyes to classmates, teachers & administrators. Many parents are often peroelexed as to what to give teachers and assistants at the end of a successful school year but as a teacher, I know I always appreciated getting creative & useful gifts! These Mason Jar Teacher Care Packages are the perefect way to thank a teacher, assistants and school staff for all they did for your family during the school year!
Materials:
- Newell Ball 16 oz Spiral Jars ($8.99 for a 4 pack)
- Brother P-Touch Portable Labeler
- Yoobi school supplies
- Post-Its
- PaperMate pens
- Insectlore 3D butterfly stickers
- blank craft coasters
- curling ribbon
- gift cards (Starbucks, Staples, etc)
- Scotch Expressions Glitter Tape
- pencil
- hole punch
Method:
- Pack each Newell Ball 16 oz Spiral Jar with a mixture of office supplies: Yoobi pens, Paper Mate pens, Post-Its, etc & add a gift card (make sure that the jar can easily close when filled)
- Use the Brother P-Touch Portable Labeler to add the receipents name to the craft coaster & have child write “I had a ball with you this year”, then attach an Insectlore 3D butterfly sticker for decoration
- Close jars & wrap Scotch Expressions Glitter Tape around the lid
- Use hole punch to punch a hole in the top of the coaster & attach it to the top of jar using a piece of curling ribbon
