A visit to the Bronx Zoo is always a fun adventure but Boo at the Zoo (September 30th-October 29th) is usually twice as fun with all the Halloween activities included in the Total Experience ticket! Come in costume and be part of the Costume parade through the zoo.
Most of the animals are still out and about and we took our time checking out the exhibits at the Bronx Zoo as well as participating in some fun Halloween traditions. We took a ride n the Bug carousel, took in the 4D movie and visited the Butterfly garden.
Take your family for a walk in the corn maze without getting stuck!
Create Halloween inspired crafts to take home at the Hands-On Activities station at the Dancing Crane Pavillion and watch pumpkin carving experts create giant animals out of pumpkins!
Stop by the Candy Trail located on Rhino Path to pick up a couple snacks provided by Go Organically, Pirate’s Booty, Sixlets, Sour Jacks, and Welch’s fruit snacks.
Take a walk through the Extinct Animal Graveyard to learn about the animal species who are now extinct.
