Sumer Camp at RoboFun
This summer your little STEM student can participae in a number of interactive camp classes including LEGO Pre-robotics, WeDo LEGO robotics, EV3 LEGO robotics, Coding & Minecraft! Summer camp options are mornings, afternoons or full day with no minimum week sign-up!
Students in Kindergarten will have a great time conducing Science experiments while learning to build fun motorized LEGO creations and make them “come to life”. Even younger children (ages 5-7) can program their very own interactive games and stories using Scratch Jr on the computer.
Minecraft is always a hit with students of all ages and during these Minecraft specific classes, students (8-11 years old) learn about electricity and circuitry by creating DIY projects based off of some of the popular features in the game. These hands-on experiences assist in the players understanding of the Minecraft gaming concepts which allows them to begin to master the game.
My favorite part of the RoboFun camp is the weekly presentations where campers showcase and explain the projects they have been working on using technical language. This shows that they really know and enjoy their time at RoboFun camp!
