Night School in Theaters September 28

Imagine going to night school as an adult…that’s just what (Kevin Hart) and his co-stars did! Night School is a seriously funny movie that follows the adventures of a group of misfits on their journey to get their GED.

Co-stars Tiffany Haddish, Rob Riggle, Taran Killam, Romany Malco and Mary Lynn Rajskub join Hart on-screen for the film which Hart produced for his Hartbeat Productions, and Packer via Will Packer Productions. Night School will have you laughing out loud from start to finish but there are also a few serious themes woven through this comedy. The ideas of second chances and redemption are prevailing messages throughout the movie and each character illustrates their own way of redeeming themselves through their own pursuit for their GED.

I had the opportunity to chat with one of the cast members, Mary Lynn Rajskub who plays a housewife who has decided to return to school to get her GED in order to assist in providing for her family. In talking to Mary, she highlighted on how much fun she and her co-stars had on set just making each other laugh during filming. I asked her if she had ever been to night school and how she was able to really get into the character of a student. She explained that she had not attended night school personally but felt that she could always learn more by returning to a school setting and got into character by thinking of re-living her own high school experiences.
