We met Miles Morales when we saw a screening of Spider-Man Into the Spider-verse & instantly fell in love with this character that my boys totally relate too…plus he is from BROOKLYN! After seeing the movie twice, we have been inspired to celebrate creativity and the beauty of our NYC borough. We created this simple Spider-verse Graffiti Craft to celebrate the new movie, the newest Spiderman and of course Brooklyn! Now you can BUY your own copy of the movie on Blu-Ray, HD or 4K Ultra HD!
MATERIALS:
- Crayola Air Marker Sprayer Set
- Crayola washable markers
- Glitter
- Crayola “Brooklyn Bridge” FREE printable coloring page
- Alphabet Stencils
- Liquid school glue
- Print out the “Brooklyn Bridge” coloring page from the Crayola website. Use the liquid glue to outline some of the lines on the bridge then sprinkle the silver glitter over the glue. Tap the excess glue off the picture and let it dry for about 1 hours. Next use the Crayola Air Marker Sprayer, a black marker and the Alphabet stencil to write “BROOKLYN” across the bridge on the coloring page.
- Remove the Alphabet stencil and fully color in one of the letter “O”s still using the black marker in the Crayola Air Marker Sprayer. Finally, place a red marker in the sprayer and make a red spider inside of the empty letter “O”.
