Winter Fun at Liberty Science Center

There is lots of Science fun to be had at Liberty Science Center this winter: microbes, mysteries, Doc McStuffins and the 12 days of Science are just a handful of the interactive exhibits awaiting you and your family.
Starting December 26th and running through New Year’s Day, guests will be able to enjoy a variety of activities including Slap Shot Hockey, TP Blizzard, Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Show and more!
The Doc McStuffins exhibit (running through January 27, 2019) invites visitors, big & small to be a toy doctor by giving tips a check-up in the emergency room. Put on a lab coat, a stethoscope and jump right in, reviewing charts and experiencing all the hands-on activities.
Through imaginative play and hands-on activities, visitors are learning about health, wellness and compassion along with Doc Mcstuffins and her assistants.
The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes
Solve an exciting murder mystery the Sherlock Holme’s way at this premium exhibition that runs through May 27, 2019. This exhibit transports visitors to the London in the 1890s to set out on an interactive adventure filled with innovation and experiments.
Everyone who enters will receive a notebook full of clues that will help them solve the mystery just like Holmes himself through interesting observations and experiments.
Exhibit Highlights:
- Discover the developments in science and technology in the 1890s (developments that are still highly relevant today)
- Visit Sherlock Holmes’ and Dr. Watson’s sitting room at 221B Baker Street, London, where their investigations began and concluded
- Receive a book full of clues to assist you while you’re hot on the trail of solving a remarkable new Sherlock Holmes mystery, written exclusively for this exhibition
- Explore a room full of all things “Sherlock” – the perfect spot for pop culture enthusiasts! The collection includes vintage Sherlock-themed card games, comics, and magazines; props from the Warner Bros.’ current Sherlock Holmes movie sets; and costumes and props from the hit TV shows, Elementaryand Sherlock
