Microgreens are tiny versions of leafy vegetables and herbs like arugula, lettuce, sunflowers, kale and others. When these plants sprout, they are called microgreens and are packed with great nutrition.
- Materials:
- microgreen seed mix
- soil
- small planters
- spoon
Using a spoon, fill your planters 3/4 full with soil. Sprinkle a small handful of seeds on top of the soil then add another thin layer of soil to lightly cover the seeds. Check every 2-3 days to see if they need to be watered and water sparingly. After a little over a week, your miniature garden should begin to grow and you can pinch off the sprouts to eat, use in smoothies or add to your salads or sandwiches!
