I enjoyed an early screening of the movie The Sun is Also A Star based on the book by Nicola Yoon. The movie is a true New York City romance about two immigrant teenagers from two very different backgrounds. Natasha (Yara Shahidi) is from Jamaica and Daniel (Charles Melton) comes from a Korean-American family but even though these two people are very different, they find out that they are very similar which leads them to fall in love in a New York minute. The film is perfect for a fun girls night out and will definitely cue all types of feelings! In theaters May 17!

I created this Green Tea adult milkshake inspired by the two cultures portrayed in the film: Korean & Jamaican.
Ingredients:
- Noona’s Green Tea Ice Cream
- 1/3 cup Wray & Nephew Jamaica Brandy
- Green Tea powder
- 1 cup of milk
- whipped cream
Method: Put half the container of Noona’s Green Tea Ice Cream in a blender along with the milk and Wray & Nephew brandy. Blend well and pour into a glass. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of green tea powder.
