We LOVE visiting Liberty Science Center, it’s a great option for a day trip out of NYC (under an hour away). The center is filled with interesting exhibits, hands-on activities and fun for scientists of all ages!
Sean Kenney’s Art made with LEGO bricks is a premium exhibit that runs from June 22-September 2, 2019. The exhibit is packed with beautiful works of art made from toy bricks exploring themes of animal endangerment, the balance of ecosystems as well as mankind’s relationship with nature.
The Brooklyn artist, Sean Kenney combines colorful bricks and tons of educational material on the endangered animals, fun facts about the construction of each piece and eco-friendly we can implement to help protect our environment.
Before exiting the exhibit, make sure to stop and build a structure or two at the hands-on play zone.
The Lion Guard exhibit runs from February 16-September 8, 2019 and is for visitors ages 8 and under and their families.
Explore the pride lands with Kion and his friends; train with each member of the Lion Guard to protect the balance of the Circle of Life.
Plus learn about wild animals while exploring the African savanna through a variety of hands-on interactive exhibits.
We had fun exploring, playing and making music in this fun Lion Guard exhibit with all the familiar characters from the show!
A visit to Liberty Science Center to check out these exhibits and more will be an outing everyone will enjoy and pick up a fun new fact to share!
