When super spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) teams up with Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) an unexpected adventure is to be expected! This team of mismatched partners show that an odd couple can work together as a team, learn from each other and save the world from evil! Spies in Disguise is a must-see family movie that everyone is sure to LOVE!
We were so inspired by Walter Beckett’s gadgets that we created our very own DIY spy watches using materials around the house!
MATERIALS:
- Scotch chalkboard tape
- empty Altoids smalls tin container
- watch band
- glue
- assorted rhinestones
- miniature spy tools (magnifying glass, mini pencil, paperclip, mini-magnet, an everything key)
First trace the outline of the empty Altoids can on the back of a piece of the chalkboard tape. Attach the chalkboard tape to the top of the tin.
Use glue to attach the tin to the watch band then decorate theta using assorted rhinestones. We chose an obligatory red button and a tear drop snapped stone to trigger spontaneous rain, a star stone that will create a bright flash of light to help with a quick getaway and some other secret buttons!
Inside our DIY spy watch, we placed some mini spy tools that can be helpful when on an important mission. We included a mini magnifying glass, a small magnet, paper clips, a mini clothespin, a mini pencil and a skeleton key!
