The Lorax movie is a great way to celebrate #EarthDay and remember that we need to take care of our environment! The scenery in the movie is so bright and fun, we decided to recreate our very own scenes of trufulla trees!

Materials:

  • Melissa & Doug finger paint set
  • straws
  • forks
  • construction paper
  • glue
  • scissors

1.Cut straws to desired tree “trunk” length and glue them to a piece of construction paper.

2.Use a fork to create the top of a truffula tree by dipping it in the paint and “painting” with the fork

3. Rinse your fork off and try using other paint colors to make more trees. You can even mix colors on the same tree to create a unique colored trufulla tree! Let dry and hang up!
