Spring/Summer 2020 is looking like one we have never seen before and everyone is having to adjust to this alternative way of life. Students are home learning remotely, parents are home working remotely and home life looks very different now. Now, more than ever, it is important to take time to relax, breathe, enjoy life and celebrate the little things. Keeping your little ones happy, healthy and active can be challenging at this time. Our family has started playing more board games together, going for short family walks and having picnics at home. We headed out on to our roof for our most recent picnic to enjoy the Spring weather, get some fresh air and sip on cups of Juicy Juice Orange Tangerine Juice that we added some fresh fruits too!
A yummy snack to enjoy with this fruit filled juice for your at-home picnic is this easy to make Apple Cranberry Granola Bread!
We decided to create some adorable Miniature Picnic Food crafts using empty Juicy Juice boxes we recycled. All you need to make these are empty juice boxes, scissors, markers and crayons.
First, make sure that your empty Juicy Juice box is washed out, cut it so it lays flat and dry it.
Next, use a permanent marker to draw food shapes: fruits (apples, bananas, grapes, cherries, oranges) , sandwich components (bread, meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard splats) and any other fun picnic items.
Then, cut out each shape carefully.
Finally, color your shapes to complete your miniature picnic food craft set!
Take your Miniature Picnic Shape out to your picnic and have fun stacking sandwiches and laying our your picnic spread!
